ELT / ETL

ELT stands for Extract Load and Transform while ETL stands for Extract Transform and Load. Both are data integration methods allowing to move data from its source, to a data lake or data warehouse. ELT is more appropriate for large structure and unstructured data sets as it sends transformed raw data directly to the data warehouse while ETL transforms data on a separate processing server.
